Accra, Ghana | 21 July 2026
Political economist and Founder & Chief Analyst of Africa Macro Intelligence (AMI), Lord Fiifi Quayle, has donated copies of his book, Pricing Uncertainty: Black-Scholes, Risk, and the Future of African Finance, to the Parliament of Ghana Library.
The donation forms part of Mr. Quayle’s broader commitment to advancing economic literacy, strengthening evidence-based policymaking, and supporting Ghana’s knowledge institutions through access to high-quality research on finance, sovereign risk, and macroeconomic resilience.
During his visit to Parliament, Mr. Quayle was taken on a guided tour of the Parliament Library’s newly established Green Library Initiative, an innovative programme designed to promote environmental sustainability while modernizing library services for Members of Parliament, parliamentary staff, researchers, and the public.
Commending the initiative, he described it as an important step toward building a more sustainable and knowledge-driven Parliament.
“Knowledge remains one of the strongest foundations of effective governance. It is a privilege to contribute to the Parliament Library while witnessing an initiative that demonstrates Parliament’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and continuous learning. Strong institutions are built on strong ideas.”
Pricing Uncertainty examines how uncertainty influences sovereign risk, financial markets, and public policy in Africa. Drawing on modern financial theory and African economic realities, the book presents a fresh framework for understanding risk, resilience, and long-term development across emerging economies.
The donation to Parliament is part of an ongoing national outreach programme through which Lord Fiifi Quayle is placing copies of the book in libraries, universities, public institutions, and policy organizations to encourage informed debate and support research on African economic transformation.
As Founder of Africa Macro Intelligence (AMI), Lord Fiifi Quayle continues to champion evidence-based analysis and practical policy solutions that strengthen governance, improve market transparency, and enhance economic resilience across the continent.
He expressed his appreciation to the leadership and staff of the Parliament Library for their warm reception and for their dedication to preserving knowledge and expanding access to information through initiatives such as the Green Library.
This donation reaffirms his belief that investing in knowledge is one of the most enduring investments a nation can make.
